Clapton Country Club Summer Wedding

When Mads and Rupes booked me for their CCC wedding I squealed with delight at the thought of going back to this awesome venue having shot there the year before - here for your viewing pleasure. This space is the dream for couples wanting to put their own stamp on their day, and for a photographer who is all about textures, cobbles and CACTI.

The guys got ready at M & R’s flat nearby, and the gals had use of the The Loft round the back of their venue - a wicked air bnb space that oozes urban chic.

Their humanist ceremony was held by Rupert’s Aunt, and it was one of the most JOYFUL ceremonies I’ve ever seen. Filled with laughter, songs, hands in the air like they just didn’t care and general giggling - it made for some cracking shots.

We spent literally 5 mins snapping some couple shots in the Tram Store and then the real party began! Maddy was super nervous about having her photos taken, so on our pre-wedding shoot a couple of months before, we figured out that the best way to make her feel comfortable was to ‘take this piss’ and pretend we were shooting album covers. I am a HUGE fan of this game.

This day was all about chilled vibes and big smiles. Which made it super easy for me to dart around catching happy faces incognito-style.

After some epic speeches (including a music video created by their mates on their join Hen/Stage ‘HAG’ rave) it was time to hop on the decks and start the party with an outfit change and a choreographed ‘first dance’ like NO OTHER.

I will never tire of coming back to this STUNNER of a venue and had the best time partying with these guests. Maddy’s two-piece and jumpsuits were from House of Ollichon and the gorge flowers were made by Bridesmaid Blanka Hay <3
